My painting process continues. My next step was a squatted church in Nijmegen, Holland
Doing the proces I named this latest paintin 'Taker'

None of us didnt really know what this woodsoil was for. It didnt look strong enough to hold up the roof or something similar - then one day a guy told us to look under it (with an excitet tone in his voice)
we discovered a ladder behind the woodplates, leading to up under the roof
I think it matches really good with the painting

with the paint I never used, a small sideproject appears slowly

What I am doing so far
This is a closet for 'De Bereklauw's new outside kitchen

'De Bereklauw' is a commune a small time away from Bruxelles.
I have stayed here for the last two weeks - my days have been going on with making art and hack in the ground.

I have enjoyed my space in my present outside studio surrounded by plants (while it is normally a gardnery)

Thanks to Kido Sjorre for the photography

Because the weather forecast spoked about rain, we moved the closet under the nearest shelter
it was a bit more tiny, but anyway...

Now a brand new design of mine has been turned into a spot on a t-shirt.
I htink its called  mer.. mer.. merchandise

The last week I have had a lot of things spinning around - the tshirts included
I am staying in a house in the north of Italy, with a view to the alps, helping with house renovation, and except for that I have a lot of projects running, which I will post on the blog - a bit later
Until then, i am happy to show my result of a... nother creature

It feels so good to be back on another trip. I went to Bern and was there, unexpected, for three - four days, before I moved on to Torino in Italy.

The beginning of a new comic. to the left is a chair and to the right iunder my hand, a man relaxing.

I have rediscovered my interest in painting:

´Contemporary Art´
I think its an ok title for this. The motive about the slagging wings in a small pool of blood is something I have kept in mind for a long time, but never knew how to get down on paper - what situation would it fit into?
Turn it into an art-installation was just a quick idea but.. I seemed to like it

A few more drawings has been made, during my tiem on Nørrebro in Copenhagen - this is a little of everything

- and you can see more in the following post - enjoy, my dear reader or spotter;)
A place I might have seen in a dream - without a little workshop - I posted that later in real life

 What ever this is..........
A tribute to a danish artist and provocateur ´Jens Jorgen Thorsen´!
painter, filmmaker and a lot of other things.

inspired by digimon and powerrangers - cool to have been a child in the ninetees - this was what came out of it

A two rooms apartment can be isolating, when you are use to have all the space you need. I stay in an old apartment on Nørrebro in Copenhagen. You can here the neighbors taking steps - its rumbling Seriously!!
While planning my next trip to somewhere, I still keep the art in touch. below the text you see my latest experiment with ink -and my madras. From my window I can look straight into a workshop - wonder what they are doing inthere - it looks like somebody is making a dress and a girl is cutting in a piece of carton.

My nine pages cartoon just finished.
It takes place on a fourth day of non-stop sleeplessness in an entire country
- then the storys ´hero´ descides to finally do something about it
but the reason behind is a little more far out, than his overtired head would have imagined

The Andy Warhol & Basquiat exhebition

To see the exhebition with Andy Warhol and Jean-Michael Basquiat was an experience! end of story.. okay I go on. Usually I use at least two - three hours on a museum. I like to take a walk through, look around, get an overview and then I take a new walkthrough, which is much longer because I begin to REally look at the paintings, sculptures, whatever and usually I dont start from the beginning, but from the first I ´point out´. This exhebition was on Arken in Copenhagen.
And they where all there - the soup-can, the golden Monroe, the Photographs, and of course the paintings that those two painted together. Also a lot of paintings I didnt know existed. I got a lot wiser that evening, and I didnt want to leave it. I wanted to get real close to the paintings to see where the small bumps was dryed - then I could imagine that this painting had been on the factory in the sixties long before my time and now I was facing it - it was just me and this myth.

If you should be interested, the exhebition is there until 11. January - so there is still a little time to run at.

This is when I get some sort of blocking from my drawing, even when I really hoped to be done with.. whatever.

This is some pics from the project, which havent got a name yet, but instead have opened up for some new ideas - f.eks. a video project because of the creaking sound that came from the silver coloured paper, when my ´model´ took a breath.

what does it remind you of?
